I definitely respect pacifists. They want peace, and so do I. However, when they refuse to kill no matter what, sometimes I get confused. You are a person who wishes for peace. You want a better world. Maybe your even working to get us there. However, a wicked person, who couldn't care less about anything but themselves, is trying to kill you, and the only way to stop them is to kill them. Isn't it better that the wicked one is killed, so that the one actually trying, and maybe succeeding, at making the world better survives, and continues their deeds?
I'm afraid not all morality is so black and white. It's not as simple as killing is wrong no matter what. There are times things aren't that simple. After all morality is man-made, and therefore doesn't have an answer to every situation.
Here's hoping the world gets better.
